Time also took its toll on this beautiful place. This old farmhouse that started off as a small serviced alpine farm gave a home to two generations of the Bair family with many children, maidservants and farm laborers and over the years it has developed into a guesthouse with rooms and apartments.
The people living in the region of the Tyrolean Unterland are down-to-earth and fond of their roots while at the same time remain open towards people from all over the world.

Paulerhof is located above the Zillertal, embedded in the farm’s own fruit gardens. The surrounding Zillertal Alps showcase their most beautiful side inviting you for a hike, a biking tour or a day of skiing.

Its location right next to the Zillertaler Höhenstraße (mountain pass) definitely has its benefits – this road counts among the highest mountain passes and guarantees a perfect bus infrastructure for skiing tourists and hikers, who prefer leaving the car parked at the hotel…
